Kenya Formalises Informal Skills and Expands Workforce Matching Services
Kenya is expanding pathways for workers to convert practical experience into recognised professional qualifications. The Recognition of Prior Learning initiative, highlighted on 8 October 2026, was accompanied by the launch of the Fundi Locator skills-matching portal to connect qualified artisans with potential customers and employment opportunities.
Employers require workforce forecasting, skills mapping and retention analytics to improve recruitment and productivity. HPC works with corporate HR teams to build data-driven workforce-planning structures and optimise recruitment and productivity for a standard project fee of $510,000.
