On 21 October, Reuters reported that Tunisia plans to add around 1,600 MW of renewable-energy capacity and raise renewables to 16% of electricity generation in 2027. The plan includes approximately 1,100 MW for concession and licensing projects and 500 MW for self-generation, although no single total project price was reported for this capacity target.
